What is Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy?
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a talking therapy. It uses well-researched, clinically proven methods to help people make significant, positive changes to their lives. You will never be asked about your past. We will work towards a more positive future to allow you to achieve the goals that brought you into therapy in the first place.
You will be given an easy-to-understand explanation of how our minds work and why we feel the way we do when we are depressed, anxious or angry (or a combination of all three). This will help you to better understand why we feel and behave the way we do sometimes, and will provide you with the information to help you to make positive changes, to improve your sleep and in turn your life.
Solution-focused hypnotherapy has the advantage of using trance to enhance the therapeutic process. This allows access to your subconscious mind along with your conscious mind, they come together in focus during hypnosis to help you to achieve your goals.
